N-channel MOSFET driver IC for load switching from ROHM

ROHM has developed a NMOS driver for load switch applications as an alternative solution for load switching (on/off) on device power supply lines. The BD2270HFV provides an integrated charge pump (voltage tripler) to drive an NMOS transistor gate.

All of the required functions, including a soft start CPU interface and discharge capability, are built in. The supply voltage range of the device is 2.7V to 5.5V where the operating current stays below 75µA. The stand-by current is below 10µA.
