Miniature rotary coded switches from Knitter-Switch are ideal for use in a wide range of applications

Europe’s leading switch manufacturer, Knitter-Switch, has introduced a range of miniature rotary coded switches, the DRS 60000, to suit a wide variety of applications that include telecomms, building automation and industrial control systems.

DRS 60000 switches are ideal replacements for the Hartmann PT65 series and can be supplied with or without a shaft. Measuring just 10 x 10mm with a height off the circuit board of just 6.5mm, the new switches are RoHS compliant and lead free solderable at 260ºC for a maximum of 5s.

The DRS 60000 switches provide a positive switch “feeling” and are available in four different codings – BCD, BCD inverse, hexadecimal and hexadecimal inverse. They have a long mechanical life of up to 10000 cycles and a contact rating of 25mA at 24VDC.
