Steve Rawlins appointed Anglia Group Managing Director

With Bill Ingram Anglia's CEO and founder stepping back from day to day involvement in the business, Steve Rawlins has been appointed Anglia Group Managing Director. Steve will have responsibility for the operations of all the Anglia group companies. In his previous roles at Anglia, Steve has seen the company achieve significant success whilst remaining privately owned.

Anglia now employs around 180 people, a significant number of these have technical qualifications that enable Anglia to provide the best possible design-in support to its customers.

Commenting on his new appointment Steve said: "I am looking forward to the new challenges this role will bring. During the recent difficult market conditions for the electronics industry, Anglia has continued to provide customers with top quality service, and has evolved such that we are in a strong position to move forwards over the coming months."

Bill Ingram said that he was: "delighted with Steve's efforts in recent years that have seen Anglia become the seventeenth largest distributor in Europe and tenth largest in the UK."

Other companies in the group are Anglia Corporation Holdings, Anglia Equipment Sales, Anglia Industrial Properties and Nover Electronics HKG (43% holding); which in turn has a 100% holding in Raycon Electronics.
