Nover's huge range of capacitors develops further with the introduction of Surface Mount Electrolytics
Until recently engineers were unable to match the high volumetric efficiency of electrolytics by using other types of surface mount capacitors and were therefore restricted to using leaded products. The introduction of surface mount electrolytics into Nover's range now gives engineers the flexibility to move their production entirely over to SMT, reducing size and costs whilst increasing productivity and efficiency. VE series: Increasingly used throughout the electronics industry the Nover VE has gained acceptance as a very reliable, quality driven product available with an extremely attractive pricing structure. Designed for general-purpose applications, it has an endurance of 2000 hours at 85°C and a capacitance tolerance of 20%. Suitable for wave and reflow soldering, the VE provides excellent performance/size characteristics. The VE series covers a wide range of values from 0.1uF to 1000uF and voltage ratings from 4V to 50V. It is supplied taped and reeled as standard. VH series: Comprising of values from 0.1uF to 100uF and voltage ratings from 4V to 50V, this range provides a superior upper temperature limit of 105°C whilst maintaining the reliability, quality and cost effectiveness of the VE. As a result the VH series is a superb choice for applications where a greater temperature safety margin is required such as power supplies and sub-rack systems. It can also substitute the VE series in applications where an increased load life is required under standard ambient conditions. The VH series has an endurance of 2000 hours at 105°C and a capacitance tolerance of 20%. Like the VE, the VH series is suitable for wave and reflow soldering, provides excellent performance/size characteristics and is supplied taped and reeled as standard. Nover's capacitor portfolio offers customers an immense choice of high quality, value for money products ranging from electrolytics (radial, axial, snap-in, lug, screw and now surface mount) through to tantalum (chip and dipped).
