Significant portfolio of power resistors available from Eurohm

Eurohm's wide range of resistors encompasses wirewound types. Designed for use in a whole host of applications, the higher power series extension covers ratings from 2W to 17W and offers a wide choice of resistance values from as low as 0.1ohm, up to 68Kohm, all in 5% tolerance.

Utilising flameproof construction techniques throughout, the collection consists of the following product series:

F2P & F4P - 2W and 4W pluggable wirewound resistors housed in silicone cement coated, radial lead bodies suited for snap-fit insertion on 10mm and 15mm pitch. Offering a high profile for effective board clearance, these resistors provide a high power dissipation to size ratio and are ideal for use in switch mode power supplies.

SV4, SV7B, SV11 & SV17 - 4W, 7W, 11W and 17W axial lead wirewound resistors housed in rectangular, ceramic cases with a glass fibre core. One lead is extended to permit bending alongside the body when vertical mounting is required. Very effective at withstanding high overload currents these resistors will find numerous uses in general and industrial high power applications including PSU's, motor control and heating circuits.

To supplement the above ranges two series of very low value, axial lead resistors are available - the C2L and LC4. Offering low temperature coefficient and a choice of power rating, both series feature a non-inductive design employing a flat metal strip housed within a rectangular ceramic case. They are ideal for current sensing applications such as those found in power supplies, motor control and overload protection.
