Introducing Cost Effective 2-Wire Digital Panel Meters From Murata, samples available from Anglia
Murata have introduced the DMS-20LCD-0/1-DCM, self-contained, self-powered, dc voltage monitor digital panel meters setting new standards for quality, performance, size and cost. The digital panel meters are very easy to integrate, simply apply power to the two rear terminals and the unit is operational, no additional components are required.
The DMS-20LCD-0/1-DCM digital panel meters feature a large monochrome, 9.4mm, LCD display with built-in “VDC” annunciator which is designed to be easily read from a distance of 10 feet. Two models are offered in the DMS-20LCD-0/1-DCM series, one for 12Vdc nominal operation utilising a 3½ digit display with +6.50V - 18.00V input voltage range and 0.01V resolution, the other for 24Vdc nominal operation with a 3 digit display and +8.0 - 50.0V input voltage range with 0.1V resolution. Both models feature reverse polarity protection as standard helping prevent the risk of damage due to incorrect connections.
The DMS-20LCD-DCM series utilizes a precision analog-to-digital converter along with ultra-stable passive components enabling it to achieve excellent performance over the full operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C. With a sampling rate of 2.5 readings per second the panel meters provide good accuracy @ +25°C of ±0.01V (typ.) ±0.03V (max.) for the 12V model DMS-20LCD-0-DCM and ±0.1V (typ.), ±0.2V (max.) for the 24V model DMS-20LCD-1-DCM.
The Digital Panel Meters are housed in a compact (35.1 x 22.4 x 16.8mm) and rugged ABS plastic package which provides excellent protection against shock and vibration, Brass screws (6-32 thread) and a panel-mount retaining clip are supplied with each meter.
The DMS-20LCD-0/1-DCM digital panel meters are suitable for applications including industrial control, instrumentation, power supplies and power conditioning equipment.
