Anglia switches on new solid state lighting suppliers at LuxLive

Wisbech, Wednesday, 17th October 2018  Anglia, a leading UK supplier of solid state lighting technology and components, is to unveil a raft of key new lighting suppliers at LuxLive (Excel, London, Nov 14-15 2018, Stand M2).

The company has announced new supply partnerships with LG OLED, Samsung ARTIK and EFORE and will be exhibiting a complete portfolio of the components needed to create and deliver a winning solid state lighting solution, including lighting class LEDs, drivers, optics, interconnect, power, control, connectivity and management technologies.

LG OLED, a world leader in OLED light technology, provides a natural and pleasant light with low glare, no UV, low blue content and very little heat emission.  Anglia is supporting their range of Luflex LG OLED light panels.  They are a thin, lightweight, and sometimes flexible surface light source that provides a uniform surface light reducing the hard edged shadows which can be a source of eye fatigue. Luflex panels emit just 10% of the amount of blue light emitted by LED light with the same colour temperature and luminance.

Anglia is enabling smart lighting & IoT solutions through Samsung ARTIK, a unifying hardware, software, cloud, security and partner ecosystem in a single integrated offering.  Samsung ARTIK hides the inherent complexity of IoT behind easy to use, open and enterprise grade APIs, SDKs and tools.  It enables any device to interact with a 3rd party device, app or service; for example a lighting control app.

EFORE’s widely recognised Digital Light brand (formerly known as ROAL) of constant current, constant voltage and programmable LED power solutions offer “Smart” choices for today’s highly advanced LED lighting designers.  Their extensive selection of high performance LED drivers and power supplies are used today for a variety of applications including retail, hospitality & leisure, healthcare, transport, industrial, large format displays, residential, outdoor and street lighting.

Commenting, Andrew Pockson, Divisional Marketing Manager, Anglia, said “Anglia has partnered with world leading suppliers to bring UK manufacturers, contractors and installers of solid state lighting systems best in class solutions addressing every aspect of a lighting project.  Whether you are looking to enhance your existing product designs with additional functionality and efficiency, or design entirely new products, visit the Anglia stand at LuxLive to encounter the latest solutions and to discuss with our specialist how we can help you address the design challenges in a current or future project. We carry an in-depth stock profile on key product lines from market-leading suppliers, so a partnership with us is a winning combination.”

The Anglia website includes a wealth of technical information about the latest products that are transforming the lighting industry landscape. This includes in depth technical articles and white papers as well as the opportunity to order free samples and/or evaluation kits to help designers integrate the latest technologies into existing products, or facilitate innovative new designs.
