New hand-held cases from CamdenBoss offer quick and easy assembly

CamdenBoss has launched a new range of hand-held enclosures designed for use in battery-powered portable electronics applications. Featuring a unique innovative design for quick and easy assembly, the new 66 series Grip Cases are manufactured in the UK and offer a more cost effective solution than previous products.

The 66 series Grip Cases are moulded in black or light grey high impact ABS, UL94-V0 and feature screwless assembly via four soft-grip corners in TPE coated polypropylene. The soft grip corners are available in seven colours – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, grey and black – as standard to match corporate styles/logos. Custom colours are available to special order.

Features include a standardised battery compartment across the range including the smaller sizes, an enhanced EPDM rubber gasket to ensure easy fitting for IP65 leakproof protection (IP62 without gasket), optional retaining screws for additional security, recesses in lid and base for membrane keypads or overlays and PCB pillars in lid and base.

Six sizes are available measuring 145 x 95 x 25mm, 145 x 95 x 35mm, 185 x 110 x 25mm, 185 x 110 x 35mm, 200 x 120 x 25mm and 200 x 120 x 35mm. Each size can be supplied with or without battery compartment for PP3 or AA styles. A retaining screw for battery door is provided as standard where appropriate.
