Hoofddorp, Netherlands, 28 February 2013, – Omron Electronic Components Europe has presented a special Award to its UK distributor, Anglia Components, marking a successful ten year partnership.

According to Alex Grout, European Distribution Manager at Omron, “Over the ten years, Anglia Components has grown from nothing to become our number one distributor in the UK and Ireland. They’ve achieved this success through unremitting focus on demand creation, and backing up the business they develop with a great logistical service that includes investment in extensive stock support.”

Graham Bridger, Marketing Director, Anglia Components responded, “We are proud and delighted to receive this award from Omron as a long standing and valued partner. Omron is recognised throughout the industry for its continued innovation, and we are excited about the opportunities that its latest technologies present. We see great potential for the innovative G9EN relay in high power DC applications, and the new D6T MEMS based thermal sensor in improving the performance of building automation systems as well as in industrial control and other applications.”

Alex Grout concluded, “Anglia is continuing to invest in its business, and has expanded both its Field Application Engineering and its Key Account Management teams this year.  Their forward thinking approach and their exceptional team has allowed Anglia to grow ahead of the market, and ensures that they will continue to grow with Omron in the future.”
