OKO’s improved range of Signal Relays offers more design flexibility

OKO have further enhanced their successful range of signal relays by upgrading the popular K1 series. The K1 relays, originally designed for signal applications in the fire and security industry, has had all variants now UL approved to 3A.

John Nash, Relay Marketing Manager at Anglia, OKO’s sole European distributor, explains the move to 3 Amps as follows:

“OKO have a policy of continually developing their relays to reflect the needs of their customers. For some time we have had some variants rated at 2A and some at 3A. The standardisation to 3A product across the board allows customers greater flexibility to use the same product in many more designs".

The K1 series is a direct replacement for many of the popular signal relays currently on the market, but offering the customer a wealth of options and a very attractive pricing structure. Available with a choice of coil sensitivity, coil positioning and nominal coil voltage it is ideal as an cost effective alternative to many of the more traditional brands. In addition, stocks are held locally in the UK by Anglia, ensuring that new designs with a quick development phase are not then faced with stocking issues when production volumes are required quickly.
