Titan Opto extends the range of Chip with built-in reflector SMD LEDs

LED manufacturer Titan Opto has extended its range of SMD LEDs to include bluish green, pure green and orange options.

Based on the very successful and competitively priced PLCC-2 package, these three new colours complement the existing 3.2 x 2.8mm range and offer designers more flexibility.

With solid state reliability and a viewing angle of 120 degrees, they are designed to work at a forward current of 20mA and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C.

The two green colours utilise Indium technology and have a typical luminous intensity of 55mcd @ 20mA. The bluish green has a peak wavelength of 502nm and is one of the first to be launched as a SMD variant. The second is a pure green with a peak wavelength of 520nm. Both components are aimed at industries where designers need to utilise coloured light to differentiate their products in the marketplace.

The orange/amber LED has a peak wavelength of 611nm and an excellent typical luminous intensity of 210mcd @ 20mA. This product is aimed at the automotive and traffic management industries particularly where space and weight maybe an issue.

Further details on this range of products and other types of LEDs are available from UK distributor, Anglia at info@anglia.com
