DF13 series double-row, 1.25mm pitch crimp-to-wire connectors from Hirose offer many features and benefits

The DF13 range consists of receptacles and headers that have been designed with space saving in mind to meet the high demand for miniaturisation.

There is a choice of single or double row, however, 30% more space can be saved with the innovative design of the double row housing that allows more contacts to be provided in the same area compared to the single row version. The height is low profile, only 5.8mm maximum, making this the perfect miniature connector.

The user friendly connector body incorporates polarizing keys and a scoop proof box structure to prevent incorrect insertion and twisting of the mating connector. Many varieties are available such as crimp sockets, vertical headers, right angle headers and vertical receptacles to offer board-to-board solutions. Further options allow the choice of through hole, surface mount , tin or gold plating. The crimp contacts can accept cable sizes AWG26 to AWG30. The number of positions vary from 2 to 40.

The DF13 connectors are suitable for a wide range of applications such as digital cameras, PDA, LCD displays, digital video recorders, car navigation, access control units, set top box and many other portable devices.
