Miniature push pull circular connectors from Hirose are user friendly, light weight and durable

To meet with the high demand for smaller yet better performing connectors Hirose have introduced the HR10/HR10A series circular connector range that includes plugs, receptacles, jacks and dust caps.

The HR10/HR10A series have been designed to be user friendly, light weight and durable. The innovative one touch push pull mechanism assures quick and easy connection and disconnection. The five key polarization ensures the mating of the connector can only be done in the correct position which makes these connectors ideal for blind mate applications. The mating pins are set back into the connector housing to ensure there is no damage to the pins during blind mating. The connector body has a refined matte finish and is easy to assemble and terminate the contacts.

There are two options available. The HR10 series features a full metal shell and gold plated contacts. Plugs, receptacles and jacks with solder termination are available in shell size 7 and 10 and contact sizes of 4, 6 & 12. The HR10A option offers a lower cost solution with a part metal shell and rubber boot with silver contacts. Plugs, receptacles and jacks are available in shell sizes 7, 10, 13 and contact sizes of 4, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 20. Solder or crimp termination options are available.

Applications suitable for both ranges are broadcast equipment, audio equipment, medical devices, video equipment and measuring equipment etc.
