LinkSwitch-II Charger/Adapter applications from PI enable tightly regulated CV/CC power supplies with reduced component count

Chargers and adapters using LinkSwitch-II easily exceed ENERGY STAR 2.0 specifications and EU Regulations for external power supplies. |
Power Integrations recently released three new designs demonstrating this:
- RD-157 complies with the China Charger standard for CV/CC cellphone chargers, and requires the fewest components of any charger available today.
- RD-158, a high-power design for high-end cellphones, PDAs and other power-hungry portable devices.
- RD-159, an adapter for cordless phones, can withstand 10 kV of surge, yet seamlessly and reliably provides power to the phone with an accuracy of +/- 250mV.
