TDK-EPC, a group company of TDK Corporation, is presenting a new sample kit with SAW filters for advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems. The components are designed for center frequencies of between 315 and 2450 MHz. The sample kit contains filters with broadband and narrowband characteristics.

EPCOS has succeeded in reducing the height of a 100-W transformer from 50 to 15 mm. This has allowed Loewe to reduce the thickness of its new generation of LCD TV sets to only 60 mm.

The electrical parameters of these CTVS (ceramic transient voltage suppression) components correspond to the leaded disk varistors of the proven EPCOS series SIOV-S05 in case size 3225 and SIOV-S07 in case size 4032.
