Description
The STR71x Evaluation Board is a complete development platform for the STR71xF, 64 pin series. It is a cost effective, flexible & open design enabling the rapid evaluation of the latest ARM7 core microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics.
The board is available in either of two versions depending on which of the TQFP64(10 x 10) packages is onboard, USB (with STR711FR2T6) or CAN (with STR712FR2T6), both with 256KB of onboard Flash memory & 64KB of RAM. The board includes serial Flash on the SPI bus & EEPROM on the I 2 C bus.
It integrates a 2 x 16 LCD, LEDs, UARTs, test buttons, an analogue input and either CAN or USB interfaces to create a versatile stand-alone test platform. A ‘Wiggler’ compatible JTAG interface is built on to the main board that can be removed if required and used as a completely separate board.
To aid rapid development and keep costs to a minimum Anglia have integrated STR7 support within the GCC toolchain which is free and supplied with this board.
