From GSM to HSDPA technology and from Java™ to RIL driver functionality - this defines the range of features which are integrated into the products of the category modules. There is, for example, the HC25 which is based on the high-speed data transmission standard HSDPA and offers up to 3.6 Mbit/s, or the MC75 which transmits data via the EDGE standard – the fastest standard in the GSM network – or the TC35i which offers just GSM connectivity. And there are a lot of modules between these, each dedicated for a specific use, in order to offer you the module you require for your application.

Our “Dedicated Vertical” Modules meet the very specific requirements of the market they address. The Automotive Modules meet the automotive industry’s rigorous quality standards, the highest on the market, and offer special features to satisfy this unique industry’s demands. They provide, for example, antenna diagnostic, a robust antenna connector and SIM access profile
Our Tracking Modules most prominent feature is the onboard GPS receiver. The integrated GPS tracking service allows the location of objects, vehicles or persons making these modules optimized for fleet management and vehicle recovery systems.

Terminals
Plug-in and play, this describes in short what the Terminals are all about. The TC65T, MC35iT and TC35iT are separate units with their own housing, which are connected via standardized interfaces like a 9 pin sub-D connector for serial interfaces or a SMA antenna connector. Thanks to its Java™ open platform, the application can run on the TC65T using the onboard microprocessor and memory. Thus various sensors and actors can be connected directly to the terminal without necessitating additional hardware, making it a stand-alone device. The MC35iT and TC35iT are designed for applications requiring basic modem functionality only. The MC35i features GRPS, and the TC35i is a GSM-based model.
