Overview
Avago spent their first three decades as part of HP, where they acquired a reputation for innovation, quality and superior customer service. During the next few years Avago continued to diversify and grow as the semiconductor division of HP’s spinoff, Agilent Technologies. Then in late 2005 Avago were acquired by KKR and Silver Lake Partners, and became an independent company.
Avago provides an extensive range of analog, mixed-signal and optoelectronic components and subsystems to more than 40,000 customers, including many of the world’s top original equipment manufacturers.
